Hi, I'm Amey Lokare

Independent Product Engineer & Software Developer

I build custom software and operational platforms for businesses — web applications, automation, VoIP systems, and infrastructure tools. AI is used when it solves a real problem, not as a default add-on.

What I Build

Custom software and operational platforms. The work below is grouped around what I actually ship.

01

Custom Software & Product Development

SaaS platforms, admin systems, internal tools, and operational software built around a specific business problem.

  • SaaS and operations platforms
  • Admin systems and internal tools
  • Customer portals
  • MVPs and product builds
02

Automation & AI Integration

Workflow automation, API integrations, and AI features where they reduce manual work or fit an existing product.

  • Business workflow automation
  • API and system integrations
  • LLM features in existing apps
  • Document and data automation
03

VoIP & Telephony Systems

PBX platforms, call routing, billing, and telecom operations software — including Asterisk-based systems.

  • PBX operations platforms
  • Call routing and provisioning
  • Usage-based billing
  • WebRTC / browser calling
04

Infrastructure & Systems

Linux infrastructure, networking, deployment, gateways, and operational tooling that has to keep running.

  • Linux server and deployment work
  • Networking and gateway software
  • Configuration and rollout tooling
  • Self-hosted operational systems

Selected Work

Public case studies across product/SaaS, telecom operations, and networking.

Multi-Tenant Cloud PBX & Billing Platform

Problem

VoIP operators often split day-to-day work across a PBX, a billing tool, and separate support processes. That makes provisioning slow, billing easy to get wrong, and customer self-service hard to offer.

Solution

Built a role-based operations panel that lets staff and resellers manage telephony configuration, usage, billing, and support in one product, with a customer-facing portal and a browser softphone.

Key Features

  • Multi-tenant account structure with super-admin, admin, reseller, and client roles
  • Provisioning for extensions, DIDs, carriers, trunks, routes, queues, and ring groups
  • Call detail records, call recordings access, and operational dashboards

Per-Device Egress Routing Appliance

Problem

Teams that need per-machine internet egress usually end up editing proxy and firewall configs by hand. That is slow, easy to break, and hard to audit when several machines need different upstream routes.

Solution

Built a self-hosted gateway product: operators add proxies, onboard machines or VPN peers, assign a route, and the appliance applies the networking change through generated configuration rather than manual server edits.

Key Features

  • Proxy inventory with create, import, connectivity tests, and health checks
  • Virtual-machine discovery and onboarding, including per-machine route assignment
  • WireGuard peer management with config/QR onboarding

Problem

Learners of regional Indian languages often face apps that are either too generic or too heavy. They need a simple phone-friendly way to study everyday phrases, with native script and clear meaning, even when connectivity is limited.

Solution

Built a lightweight learning app that keeps lessons as local content. Users pick a language, open a category, and study phrase cards. Content can be prepared in a spreadsheet and converted to JSON, so the product can grow without building a CMS first.

Key Features

  • Language selection for Kumaoni and Garhwali
  • Category-based lessons such as greetings, family, food, travel, and polite expressions
  • Phrase cards with native script, transliteration, and English meaning

EZYACCESS — Multi-Tenant Remote Support SaaS

Problem

Support organizations need a controlled way to manage technicians, customers, remote-support access, sessions and concurrent usage without exposing the underlying infrastructure directly to customers.

Solution

EZYACCESS is a product/control layer around remote-support infrastructure. It owns tenants, users, RBAC, support codes, guest access, devices, session lifecycle, concurrent slot limits, and administrative controls. MeshCentral remains the remote-desktop transport in production rather than a customer-facing system.

Key Features

  • Multi-tenant organizations with server-side role visibility (Owner, Admin, Agent)
  • Technician support codes: hashed 6-digit codes bound to an organization
  • Guest/customer portal so the customer can verify a code without creating an account

How I Work

Direct technical involvement, from the first scope conversation through deployment.

Direct technical involvement

You work with the person who designs and builds the system, not a hand-off chain.

Architecture before implementation

Scope, integrations, and failure cases are settled early so the build stays coherent.

Existing-system integration

Most work connects to tools you already have — billing, PBX, APIs, servers — rather than replacing everything.

Clear scope and milestones

Work is planned in reviewable pieces so progress is visible before the end of the project.

Production-minded engineering

The aim is software that can be deployed, operated, and changed later — not a throwaway demo.

Maintainable delivery

Code, configuration, and notes should be understandable after the project is handed over.

From Scope to Delivery

A practical sequence for custom software work

01

Understand the problem

Clarify what has to work, what already exists, and what success looks like.

02

Architecture first

Agree the approach, integrations, and constraints before writing a lot of code.

03

Build in milestones

Ship working slices that can be reviewed, rather than a single late handover.

04

Deploy and hand over

Put the system into a real environment with the documentation needed to operate it.

About

I'm Amey Lokare, an independent product engineer. I design and build the kind of software businesses run day to day: operations panels, billing, telephony, automation, and the infrastructure underneath.

The public case studies are the best evidence of that work. If a project looks like a fit, the next step is a written enquiry — not a sales call script.

Send a short brief — what you need built, any constraints, and roughly when you need it. I will review it and follow up if it looks like a fit.
